30 July 2008 – Called Meeting
MINUTES
The Johnson County Board of Commissioners held a CALLED MEETING July 30, 2008 at 6:00 PM in the Grand Jury Room.
Vice Chairman, Bruce Veal gave the invocation.
Commissioner Larry Pope made a motion to approve the mileage rate for 2008 at the rate of 11.644. Commissioner John Pullen seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous.
Chairman James L McAfee made a motion to go out of Regular Session. Commissioner Bruce Veal seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous.
Chairman McAfee made a motion to go into Executive Session. Commissioner Pope seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous.
Commissioner Veal made a motion to come out of Executive session. Commissioner Foskey seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous.
Commissioner Pope made a motion to go back into Regular Session. Commissioner Pullen seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous.
During the Executive Session personnel issues and contract negotiations was discussed. The County Attorney was not present no official vote was taken.
Commissioner Pullen made a motion to adjourn this Called Meeting. Commissioner Foskey seconded the motion. The vote was unanimous.
All of the Commissioners were present for this Called Meeting: Chairman, James L. McAfee, Vice Chairman Bruce Veal, John Pullen, Larry Pope and Jack Foskey.
