2020 Census Takers

For anyone who may be looking for work, or anyone who may just want to make some extra spending money, the U.S. Census Bureau is currently hiring people to be Census takers during the 2020 Census.

Census activities will begin ramping up in March and will continue through the spring months. With paid positions up to $17.50/hour, it’s a quick way to make some extra income. The Census Bureau offers flexible work hours, weekly pay, and paid training. Anyone 18 years of age and older is eligible.

Hiring events in Johnson County are scheduled on Thursday, Jan. 30 from 9:30 am-1:00 pm at the Harlie Fulford Memorial Library in Wrightsville; Tuesday, February 4 from 9:30 am-1:30 pm at the Library; Wednesday, February 5 from 9:30-1:00 pm at the Johnson County Government Annex, and Thursday, February 6 from 4:00 pm-7:00 pm at the Depot in Wrightsville.
